The Cathedral of St.Jacob

The cathedral of St. Jacob is the most valuable architectural monument built during the 15th and the 16th century in Croatia, and according to its beauty, construction techniques and style characteristics it is not only the biggest and the most valuable object of the architectural heritage of the Town of Šibenik, but it represents also a unique monument of the European sacral architecture.

According to its artistic value, it belongs to the most valuable European monumental cathedrals, and thanks to some of its features it is unique not only among the cathedrals, but among the Christian churches in general.

Kornati National Park

Kornati National Park makes the most of the group of Kornati islands in the CroatianAdriatic in the middle of Dalmatia, to the west from Sibenik in Sibenik-Knin County.National park was declared 1980th and then placed under protection. The total area of the park is about 220 km ² and consists of 89 islands, islets and rocks. Since the parkarea, only about 1 / 4 the mainland, while the remaining part of the marine ecosystem.

It abounds in natural and cultural features. Vertical cliff "crown" of the Kornati islandsfacing the open sea of the most popular phenomenon of this park. They are alsohabitats for rare species.

Krka National Park

Krka National Park lies within Šibenik-Knin County, and covers a total area of 109 km² of the loveliest sections of the Krka River, and the lower course of the Čikola River.

The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, including one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The purpose of the park is primarily to serve science, culture, education and recreation, while tourism activities have also been introduced for its visitors.

Including the submerged part of the river at the mouth, the Krka River is 72.5 km long, making it the 22nd longest river in Croatia.

St.Donat church

The symbol of the city of Zadar and the most famous monumental edifice in Croatia from the early Middle Ages (9th c.)

Church of St.Donat is round pre-Romanesque church which was called the Church of the Holy Trinity until the 15th c., and from that time on carries the name of Saint Donat, by the bishop who had it built.

The church was mentioned for the first time in mid 10th c. in the documents of the Byzantine emperor Constantine VII Porphyrogennetos.
